Emily, when I was buying those shoes at the market, another teacher said, "You're not seriously buying those Chinese hooker shoes are you?" I said, "Yep!" Our translator said, "Maybe they are wedding shoes." Maybe. The thing I love (besides the awesome height they give) is that they are velcro! HAHAHA.
I usually wear them once a year either at Christmas or Valentine's Day to church. I get lots of interesting glances. I figured it would be a little impractical to wear them while taking care of a baby though.

We share the same anniversary! Well, ours is exactly one year before yours, but it's on the same day! Did I know that already? I like the little photo journey. Very cool!
Oh, and Amanda, if you notice, I used to wear makeup all the time.
Matt said he doesn't mind a little mascara, but it's lipstick that he really hates. I bet I'd wear more makeup if I wore contacts more often. Or had laser eye surgery. Maybe I'll get it done when Aaron (my bro-in-law starts his practice...).
Had to make it PG rated Em. haha. I tried to get the seamstress to make the slit lower, but she just said, "ok. ok." and did what she wanted. I actually do wear a black skirt or pants underneath it, but I didn't have any when I took the picture. =)
