I just got my shirts from Down East Basics. Unfortunately the sizes ran smaller than Shade! So, my Maternity smalls that I ordered are skin tight. They are smaller than my Shade regular small (a little longer but tighter)! Doh. And I'm also sad that the crew neck that I ordered was out of stock so they just refunded my money and didn't send it. So, I'm not sure how the size compares on that. The 2 shirts I got will have to be returned. I don't even know if the mediums will fit me now! I hate clothes shopping online. It's nice that it gives a variety, but unless I know the company and the sizing, it's neigh unto impossible for me to find the right fit on the first try.
Oh, and those Shade mediums have a slightly better fit after having washed them.

What a pain. As if finding clothes isn't a hard enough thing!
Yeah, clothes shopping is far, FAR from being a favorite past time for me. Thanks for the experience/info on the Down East stuff, though. It's been helpful for me as I shop vicariously through you. (Not that I've done any shopping yet, but it's becoming inevitable that I will.) I'm going to Utah soon and plan to poke my head into a Down East store, and I'm hoping that they carry maternity stuff in their stores so I can just try stuff on.
I'm pretty sure they do. My sister asked me if I wanted her to pick me up something. Oh, and Down East took much longer to get to me (maybe because that shirt was out of stock), but their shipping was half price of Shade.
Doh. I should have just read your post before emailing you. Oh well! I checked out Down East and they are a whole heck of a lot cheaper than Shades! I'm still perusing and trying to decide, thanks for all your help!
I just saw that "shade undershirts" were on sale for $10. I just saw the sign on the Shade store as I was driving by. Really I can pick some up for you...
I HATE on-line shopping!
