One week

Next Tuesday is the due date. Although I'm feeling pretty ready, I actually hope that he'll wait until next Wednesday night or Thursday so I can get 4 lessons in with all my piano students. Otherwise I'll worry about make ups and/or make my mom help me teach some after he's here!

This picture was taken on Sunday. Oh, and I finished the crib skirt today. So my bed set is now complete. For some reason blogger's not letting me add any more pictures tonight, so I'll have to post the other pictures tomorrow.

Hard to believe it's only a week away! About a week before Garrett was born was about the time I really started to get nervous (good thing the whole delivery bit wasn't as bad as my imagination led me to believe it would be...our bodies really are designed for this to work!).

You look great, too, by the way. :)

You look great for only being a week away! I think you are the only pregnant lady I have ever known that would be ok with the baby coming after your due date! Your crazy!!! Glad to hear that your Mom is coming that will be nice! Keep us posted on any news!

He looks ready to come out--do you feel ready?

Are you getting lots of rest? Go get some more.

How is my brother feeling about all of this? Does he feel ready?

Well, of course I would happily teach any piano lessons when I'm there. It would be fun to see who your students are. We'd want to keep you and Dean in the back part of the house though so no kid germs came his way. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Thanks guys. It's crazy to think it's so close. We're both feeling pretty ready for him to come. Almost every night after looking at how big and tight my stomach is, Matt says, "We need to get that baby out!" Haha. We're both ready but both a little nervous.

I've been taking it a lot easier recently. Because of my swelling feet I've been laying down with my feet propped up more and I've been walking/exercising a little less. I've even taken a few naps which is unusual for me.

And thanks, mom, for being willing to help with lessons. I already have 2-4 students who will need make up lessons because of this week. Two are teenagers at an intermediate level, and two are around 9-10 yrs. at a beginning level. I'm not sure if the younger kids are planning on a make up or not.

Yes, you have a full-sized infant living inside of you. It might be time to serve the eviction notice. I once heard someone say to her unborn baby, "You get one spanking for every day that you're over due." Of course the baby was just too cute to follow up with her first plans of discipline(insert smiley face emoticon here).

GOOD LUCK! With your labor and delivery and surviving the last few days as well.
