Falling numbers

It's a little surprising to me that the temperature in my house (with the windows open) is 62 degrees! Last week it was mid-nineties! It's kind of a nice change. It actually feels like fall. Time for me to bundle up though.

And I saw gas for under $2 yesterday!!! WooHoo! It's been too long. May fall continue as such.

I hear you on the falling temperatures. We're headed for what they call a "hard freeze" here in Indiana. The forecasted low for tonight is a breezy 29 degrees. Ouch. I guess it's time to turn the heater on. Anyway, enjoy your cooler, fall temperatures!

And yay! Gas for under $2! I saw it here for $1.96 the other day (and then I kicked myself when yesterday it jumped up to $2.29....and my gas tank was still low...oops).

Wow. That's a huge jump from 1.96 back up to 2.29, Crazy. It's steadily been going down a couple cents every day. Most places here are still at 2.10 but luckily the station with the lowest price is the closest to our house.

We just turned on our heater today. We have used our little electric heaters some already. But the days are nice and the leaves are beautiful. It is fun to run in the crisp morning air while watching the sun rise. We're looking forward to seeing you at Christmas where you will get a chance to experience some real winter weather. Maybe we will go tubing!

Gas is falling but not as quickly as other places. It's still over $2.50.

It started snowing here yesterday. I had to watch the bridge on the way home, it was iced over and I have to start slowing down as I reach it to make my turn. I slid a little. Temps are suppose to be in the low to mid 20s tonight. We aren't ready for it.
