And it only took me half a year...

Tonight I completed my most time consuming, difficult, intricate quilt to date. I had no idea what I was getting into when I started. The friend I made it for had her first baby two weeks ago, so I'm a little late. But as my mom said, "at least it's not cold right now!"

Hey, cousin Matt here. See how in tune I am, I didn't even realize you were pregnant. Great quilt! I'll blame it on my Mom. Are you guys coming to Grandma's 80th birthday? We'll be there. Hope all is well with you!

It's good to see you here again Matt! I'm not sure I'll be able to come to Grandma's because I'm due 3 weeks before the bash. If I am overdue at all, like my sisters seem to do, it would only be about 2 weeks I'd have to recover and take a brand new baby on a plane. Not sure about that. i really want to come.

I do think that everyone else in my family will make an appearance. Not 100% positive on that though.

Thanks guys. I appreciate hearing the compliments. It's hard when you do something like this because you never know others will appreciate the effort it took to complete...
