How many world renown surgeons do you know that call their patients the evening after surgery to make sure they're feeling ok? I know one.

Perhaps your surgeon has been around long enough that he/she remembers when anyone who had surgery would stay in the hospital for a couple of days. That way the surgeon could see for themselves how everything was healing. No matter, it is nice to have a doctor truly care.
Oh, and so people don't worry, nothing's wrong. This was part of my Christmas letter. The "medical procedure" for fertility stuff. Not In vitro yet. This was the first step to see if we can get on the right path without it.
Oh good! I was a little worried when you mentioned surgery... I hope all goes well and that the procedure works. And yay for such a fabulous, caring doctor. Those are the best kind.
