Who is this little man?

Well, tonight after dinner we pulled out the clippers and jelly beans and proceeded to give Dean his first real hair cut. It's actually his third, but boy we've never cut anything like this! Previously we just trimmed off mullets and made sure the hair was out of his eyes. He was trembling with fear of the clippers, and he cried the majority of the cut. He did much better, though, when Matt was cutting and I was reassuring; however, he did not like getting hair in his mouth regardless of who was doing what!

Matt and I both like it longer a little better, but this will be nicer for the summer at least. It was kind of getting hard to manage. We'll probably just let it grow until it he is the little surfer once again. He looks so different, but he's still as cute as can be!

Holy cow-- it does change his looks! Very cute both ways! Amazing how much darker it looks. We are fans of the buzz cut every other month, then the style and maintance inbetween...{Ranan HATES the clipper so!}

Awww...so cute! Perfect for summer.

I HATE cutting Spencer's hair, he's definitely getting better about it (by that I mean he doesn't scream at the sight of the clippers as much), but he's still as squirmy as ever.

Wow he really does look different. I like the longer look on my boy too, but last summer we realized that he got stinky way too fast with longer hair. He's not a fan of the haircut either, but when we put on a movie he likes he'll usually sit still for a while. We've been keeping it short for a while and I eventually got used to it.

Oh, he looks so cute! It is amazing how much older those haircuts make them look.

Scott actually just buzzed P's hair tonight (he uses a #2 - so it is fairly short). I always miss it being long enough to put some gel or something in, but it is nice to have it short and not have to worry about it for a few weeks.

Did he sit still? I struggle with that!

OH wow! We used the 8! He didn't try and run away, but his head kept moving trying to locate the clippers when they weren't immediately on his head.

He looks so different - but cute as ever still. I'm a fan of short hair on Garrett, but I think Dean sports the long look quite well.

I'm always totally surprised at how much a hair cut changes a toddler's look.
