I hope its only MOSTLY dead.

Woo-hoo-hoo, look who knows so much. It just so happens that your [car] here is only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive.
Matt just got home from Young Men's with the news that our car is dead. It won't turn over. It wouldn't start with a jump. So hopefully it's just mostly dead and can be revived with a AAA trip to the car place in the morning. And hopefully that revival won't cast too much money. Because we weren't really planning on getting a new car. We had decided we couldn't even afford a used car. I mean we'll make it if we have to, but here's to hoping we don't have to.

yah, the repairman is coming over to see if ou washing machine is only "mostly dead." that was a funny way to put it. it made me laugh over our poor washing machine.

Haha both were really funny. I love that guy. I hope your car is mostly dead and it was just a really dead battery (since that is cheap to fix).

It was corroded wiring. If we got a new harness to really fix the problem, it would have cost $200 and we would have been out of a car for a week while we wait for the part.

So they just cleaned up and repaired what we have for $70 and said it should last about a year...maybe more if we do things to maintain it.

Mand, hope your washing machine is fixable...

Great picture. I can hear him saying mostly dead right now! Car repairs are our life right now as we have made the decision to keep this and keep fixing it up for another 50,000 miles. Glad yours was fixable!
