Tecces
Yesterday when we were playing outside, Dean was making up a game with the side walk chalk. I heard him say to our neighbor girl, "You stand on Texas. I'll stand on America." I had to see what he was talking about, and he had written the words, "Tecces" and another word that was supposed to be America, but wasn't quite as recognizable. I was so proud of him for trying to sound out and spell things at age 4.

That's pretty good spelling. And he already has a Texan mindset, Texas is a whole different place than America!
