Good luck! today was the first time David ran out in the street and I was mortified! Usually he stays right with me. Strollers just seem like a hassle when you're going some "quick" place like the post office.
3. I try and keep him in the cart as long as possible with treats and snacks, but sometimes he just passes his point of tolerance for sitting. He then starts wiggling out of seatbelts and tries to climb out of the cart.
4. I CAN'T STAND when kids cry at the store. I know parents can't always help it, but I'd rather let him down and walk than endure an annoying wailing kid.
5. If he was at a reasoning stage like, "If you're not good we're going home." I would probably not use a harness.

I mainly think harnesses are best for very little kids who can't stand being strapped down in a cart or stroller but can't understand reason or the need to stay right by mommy.Celia Marie (W.) If they cry, we go back to the car and go home. They caught on quick that they had better be good in it if they want to go anywhere. Plus, a few good snacks in the stroller work wonders for distraction.Cannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03699122697512215236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23556887.post-32889491309480956202008-12-07T23:33:00.000-06:002008-12-07T23:33:00.000-06:00HAHAHA! One of my favorite Simpson's lines is when someone invents a baby talk interpreter, and the baby in the child harness says, "This thing is degrading to both of us." or something like that. I am much more of a stroller person, mostly because I am the one giving strange looks to people with harnesses, especially when the child runs to the end of the line and then is pulled into the air and onto the ground with a snap. But whatever, to each her own.Cannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03699122697512215236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23556887.post-73766479360468191622008-12-06T10:26:00.000-06:002008-12-06T10:26:00.000-06:00I hear you on the crafts! Why is it that the busiest time of year is also my most creative time of year?

Hey, go for the harness...we have one and I think it's one of the best inventions ever. Not once have I gotten a weird look for using it. And a child attached to you is WAY better than the alternative. I even saw a lady at the library with one on her toddler. Spencer loves it, he calls it his "monkey."-Laura-https://www.blogger.com/profile/10013042292022123369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23556887.post-50580155278091553342008-12-05T07:42:00.000-06:002008-12-05T07:42:00.000-06:00The harness is an awesome idea I have one and I lo...The harness is an awesome idea I have one and I love it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03832361312558015360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23556887.post-46971779608019133402008-12-05T00:48:00.000-06:002008-12-05T00:48:00.000-06:00The little "uh oh" is so cute!Good luck getting ev...The little "uh oh" is so cute!

Good luck getting everything done.
